Green Sea Divers Dive Shop was established on late December 2011, it’s a new dive shop located inside Kawayan Marine Resort in Punta Engaño Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, however the experience and the service of the personnel is so exceptional. 


The staff is all professional certified divers with more than ten (10) years of diving experience who knows very well of all the diving spot in Mactan Cebu, Philippines. Green Sea Divers Dive Shop located very near close to the beach which gives easy access to divers who want to dive or to people who just wanted to swim or do some watersports activity.

Green Sea Divers Dive Shop has its own air compressor, own tanks, own diving equipment where people can easily rent a diving equipment anytime of the day..

Green Sea Divers Dive Shop partnered with Seawalker Company and NTJ Watersports Company offers all kinds of water activity such us diving!

Malapascua Island

Getting to Malapascua 1

The TRIP from Cebu City to Daanbantayan/ Maya  (the jump-off point), would normally take between 4 to 4.5 hours by bus. A 4-hour trip, it is long enough for a supposedly leisurely travel so you should take the airconditioned bus, Ceres Tours, to relax a bit while in transit. CERES LINER is the one without Aircon. Maya is some 145 kilometers away from the city via narrow and winding road passing through scenic landscapes along the way.

During the bus ride one will pass Mandaue City and Consolacion

The bus ride is far from smooth, over a winding and narrow road all the way to Bogo, a progressive city. The bus will reach Bogo  about 2,5 - 3 hours later and then after a 15 minute stop for unloading passengers will go to the last leg of the journey. The towns of Medellin and Daan Bantayan are located in a peninsula Daanbantayan, connected to Bogo only by a narrow isthmus. The bus had to slow down as we entered the peninsular towns as the road was surprisingly unpaved

About 4-4,5 hours after leaving one will reach Maya wharf pantalan and then continue  the  journey to the island, this time by boat. Malapascua Island is a 30-minute boat ride across a shallow 8-kilometer channel from Maya

Nalusu-an Marine Sanctuary

Nalusu-an Marine Sanctuary is known for its magnificent creature the blue spotted sting rays. Located of the island of Olango which is only an hour trip from Mactan Island. Using the traditional Filipino “banka boat’, the island is suitable for snorkelers due to its crystal clear water..
RATINGS: 5 star of 5
VISIBILITY: 20-35 meters
CERTIFICATION: Open water or higher and good for beginners.
CURRENT: Weak to strong.
COMPOSITION: One side of the sanctuary slopes until 15 meters then drops off to 40 meters. The other side of the sanctuary is a wall dive that’ goes down to 30 meters.
SNORKELING: 100% satisfied.
TEMPERATURE: 26-29 degrees Celsius.
MARINE LIFE: Of course blue spotted sting rays, groupers, parrot fishes, lion fish, scorpion fish, sergeant major, damsel fishes, lots of soft coral and hard corals just to name a few...

Hilutungan Marine Sanctuary

The Hilutungan Sarine Sanctuary is considered by many divers as the divers heaven site. It is near the Mactan main island, just 35-40 minutes by boat ride using the traditional outrigger boat.

CERTIFICATION: Open water or higher. Discover scuba diving
CURRENT: Weak to moderate
COMPOSITION: It’s a wall dive starting 5 meters down to 40 meters

TEMPERATURE: 27-29 Degrees Celsius
MARINE LIFE: Schools of bat fishes, parrot fishes, trevally, trigger fish, sergeant major fishes, damsel fishes, snappers, eels, barracudas, sweet lips, and anemone fishes just to name a few.

Tambuli Point

Tambuli Point is one of the most known dive sites around Mactan Island due to its beautiful plane wreck and most loved by under water photographers due to its macro animals that you can find in the site.

CURRENT: W to moderate
COMPOSITION: Slope down to 50 meters
PLANE WRECK: 18-21 meters

MARINE LIFE: Sergeant major fishes, damsel fishes, ribbon eels, barracudas, frog fish, lion fish, scorpion fish, squid, octopus, mantas will pass sometimes on this area, pupper fishes, cat fish, trigger fish, gobies, nudibranch, mantis shrimp, hermit crab, gobies crab. and lots of macro animals.

Talima Marine Sanctuary

10 MINUTES AWAY FROM MACTAN ISLAND. YOU CAN REACH TALIMA MARINE SANCTUARY BY BOAT. THIS DIVE SITE IS RICH OF MARINE LIFE PLUS A WRECKAGE OF A FISHING BOAT WHICH IS HOME OF MANY REEF COLORFUL FISHES.
